Hey guys! As you may know my most popular tutorial is the DIY EOS that I made some months ago and you really seemed to like it so I tried to think about something a little more creative to make with these lip balms butwhat could it be Finally I had an idea So today I’m going to show you how to make a DIY heart EOS lip balm Start off with a clean EOS container, you can easily clean it with hot water Now put some water in a pot and a heat proof container.
And heat the water until is hot but not boiling. Add two teaspoons of beeswax and 5 teaspoons of olive oil and let it melt Then I added a little bit of lemon flavoring so it tastes good and some dark lipstick so it has a nice pink color. Once that’s ready pour it onto the lid of your container and let it sit in the freezer for at least 10 minutes Take two small pieces of plastic sheet that you can find at craft stores and staple them together you will get something like this.
Then take two pencils or anything with the same shape and place them at each side of the staple Then take the plastic around the pencils as I’m doing here and you will get the perfect heart shape Tape the two ends together so they stay in place I hope this was clear, it was actually really difficult to make the shear plastic show in the tutorial. Take out the pencils and cut the excess from the bottom and you will get the perfect heart mold. Now take out the lid and gently press.
DIY EOS lip balm heart design!! EASY
With your thumb as I’m doing here and the lip balm will just come off And yes, I know, this leaves my other tutorial completely outdated Take the heart mold we just made and gently press it onto the lip balm and it will act like a cutter but do this really slowly or the shape will break Take out the excess from the sides and you will get something like this Keep it in the freezer for at least 30 minutes In the meantime, make the rest of the lip balm.
With the same recipe and this time with a lighter lipstick color. Half an hour later take out the heart from the freezer and cut the plastic from the bottom and gently take it out The freezer time is really important because it will break if it’s still soft Place it in the middle of the lid and pour the other color Let it sit until it’s hard and pour the rest of the recipe into the other part of the container close it quickly and put it upside down, this way.
